The Foxconn Group has recently achieved notable milestones in the electric vehicle (EV) market, securing a deal with Mitsubishi Motors in Japan for the production of electric vehicles. These vehicles are anticipated to hit the roads in Australia and New Zealand by the second half of 2026. Building on this partnership, the two companies aim to further collaborate and introduce electric buses to the Japanese market. Through its subsidiary, Foxconn EV Technology, Foxconn is engineering these EVs for Mitsubishi, with manufacturing taking place at Yulon in Taiwan, China. This development underscores the international acknowledgment of Foxconn's prowess in the EV sector.
