FAW Jiefang Reports Over 30% Year-on-Year Decline in April Production and Sales, Light Trucks Hit Hardest

On May 12, FAW Jiefang unveiled its April 2025 production and sales figures. According to the report, the company manufactured a total of 16,667 vehicles and sold 19,975 units during the month, marking a 32.32% and 30.33% year-on-year drop in production and sales, respectively. Notably, light trucks bore the brunt of this decline, with production plummeting to just 527 vehicles, a 90.34% decrease from the previous year, and sales falling to 1,564 vehicles, a 76.53% year-on-year drop.
