On May 12, the China Automobile Manufacturers Association (CAAM) released data revealing a steady performance in the automotive market during April 2025, marked by consistent growth in production and sales compared to the same period last year. For the first time, cumulative automobile production and sales from January to April surpassed the 10 million mark, reaching 10.175 million and 10.06 million vehicles, respectively, with annual increases of 12.9% and 10.8%. Notably, exports of new energy vehicles have surged, experiencing a year-on-year growth of 76%, thereby emerging as a pivotal force in stabilizing external demand.
