Continental has triumphantly commenced mass production of its locally manufactured sixth-generation millimeter-wave radar, the ARS620, in China. Marking a significant leap from its fifth-generation predecessor, the ARS620 boasts comprehensive enhancements in performance, cost-efficiency, and form factor, alongside the introduction of a novel capability to detect the height information of targets. Furthermore, the corner radar SRR630's HBM high-bandwidth mode innovatively replaces ultrasonic radars in parking scenarios, thereby slashing system costs even further. Concurrently, Continental Intelligent Driving, a collaborative venture between Continental and Horizon Robotics, has unveiled the Astra and Luna advanced driver assistance systems. These state-of-the-art systems have secured mass production orders from numerous leading automotive manufacturers and secured tens of millions of yuan in angel round funding, underscoring their robust market potential.
