Volvo has recently introduced the SMA super hybrid architecture, characterized by a dedicated hybrid engine and transmission. This advanced system represents an upgrade from a domain fusion architecture to a centralized one. Leveraging this innovative architecture, Volvo will launch the all-new XC70 plug-in hybrid SUV, strategically positioned between the XC60 and XC90, aiming primarily at the 400,000 yuan market segment. The XC70 boasts an electric-only driving range exceeding 200 kilometers under CLTC conditions, complemented by high-speed NPA pilot assist driving technology. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates advanced cabin chips and large end-side displays, enhancing the overall driving experience.
