Volvo Cars has debuted its innovative SMA super hybrid architecture, unveiling the XC70 as the pioneering model rooted in this cutting-edge platform. Adhering to the brand's signature new energy design philosophy, the XC70 boasts "Thor's Hammer" headlights and "Viking Axe" taillights, accompanied by a palette of paint options that includes denim blue and desert sand. Powered by a plug-in hybrid system, the XC70 promises a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 200 kilometers and a combined range of 1,200 kilometers. The vehicle is set to hit the market this year, and it is designed to support future upgrades in both software and hardware, paving the way for advanced assisted driving capabilities.
