On April 13 at 2:00 PM, an AITO M7 Pro vehicle at the Liaoning Shenyang Industrial Exhibition Hall experienced an unintended start just before the exhibition's dismantling, resulting in a collision that left one visitor with minor injuries. The following day, the AITO Auto User Service Department released a statement confirming that the injured individual sustained only minor bruises and had already been discharged from the hospital. Preliminary investigations have indicated that the incident occurred because the vehicle was not set to exhibition mode, leading to the unintended start. Additionally, the driver's seat safety belt was not fastened, and the steering wheel was significantly disturbed, which prevented the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system from engaging.
