The National Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with three other departments, is undertaking the application and review process for pilot projects aimed at large-scale Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology application. The designated pilot cities encompass Shanghai, Changzhou, Hefei, among others, totaling nine locations across China. These projects encompass the establishment of V2G charging and swapping stations, the promotion of distributed V2G interactions, and the implementation of high-power AC charging and discharging systems. The overarching goal is to foster seamless integration between new energy vehicles and the power grid, thereby supporting the development of a modernized new energy and power system.
