At the 2025 China Electric Vehicle Hundred People Forum, Ouyang Minggao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, predicted that within the next 10 to 30 years, five industries each valued at 10 trillion yuan will emerge. These include the new energy basic industry, the new energy vehicle industry, comprehensive electrification of transportation, smart and zero-carbon energy industries, and the green hydrogen energy industry. It is estimated that the overall economic scale associated with new energy will surpass 100 trillion yuan.
