Toyota Motor Corporation announced on Friday that its global production has increased for the second straight month, fueled by enhanced output and robust sales in Japan. This positive trend comes as the impact of last year's certification scandal in its domestic market continues to wane. Despite this, Toyota's production in North America declined by 1 percent, and shipments of Japanese imports to the U.S. market also dropped by 1 percent. Nonetheless, due to a 28 percent surge in domestic sales and a 2 percent increase in overseas markets, Toyota's overall global sales rose by 6 percent in February.
