Mercedes-Benz (China) has officially announced a recall campaign, commencing on March 28, 2025, encompassing 54,664 imported S-Class vehicles manufactured between April 3, 2020, and March 23, 2022. This recall action is necessitated by a potential issue wherein, under conditions of high temperature and humidity, certain vehicles may experience cracks in their front wheel brake hoses. These cracks can result in brake fluid leakage, ultimately impacting braking performance. To address this safety concern, Mercedes-Benz will offer a free replacement of the affected brake hoses with enhanced versions through its authorized dealership network, thereby mitigating any potential safety hazards.
