In the 393rd batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," Skyworth proudly introduced its all-new plug-in hybrid 'minibus,' the SUMMER. This vehicle draws inspiration from the Loose locomotive Summer, sharing a similar silhouette but featuring a more compact front end. Its nostalgic exterior pays homage to the legendary Volkswagen T1 microbus of the 1950s and 1960s, characterized by its round headlights, trapezoidal grille, and oversized wheel hubs. A spare tire is mounted at the rear, and all three side doors open in a classic opposing manner. Powered by a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain, the SUMMER boasts a top speed of 165 kilometers per hour. Its dimensions are impressive, measuring 5290mm in length, 2058mm in width, 1930mm in height, and boasting a wheelbase of 3250mm.
