The eagerly anticipated Ideal L Series and MEGA Smart Driving Upgraded Version have made their debut in the SAIC product lineup. The AD Pro system models have now been equipped with LiDAR, enhancing their active safety performance to rival that of AD Max models. Furthermore, the AD Max models will undergo an upgrade, swapping out the dual Orin-X chips for a single, more powerful Thor-U chip. This change will enable advanced driver assistance and full-scenario NOA functionalities. Meanwhile, the AD Pro system, spanning from L6 to L9, will receive an upgrade from the J5 chip to the J6M chip, also incorporating LiDAR. Notably, the powertrain and design remain unchanged, with the L9 Smart Driving Upgraded Version boasting exclusive decorative touches. Regarding purchase incentives, customers can avail limited-time offers including 3-year zero-interest financing and cash subsidies. These benefits are subject to adjustment following the official launch in May.
