On March 19th, the Passenger Car Association released data indicating that from March 1st to 16th, retail sales of passenger vehicles in the national market totaled 772,000 units. This represents a 24% increase year-on-year and a 33% jump compared to the previous month. For the year to date, cumulative retail sales have reached 3,948,000 units, marking a 5% year-on-year growth. During this same period, retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles surged to 427,000 units, reflecting a robust 41% increase year-on-year and an impressive 63% leap month-on-month. The cumulative retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles for the year stand at 1,853,000 units, indicating a 36% year-on-year growth.
