In the evening of March 17, NIO and CATL entered into a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, aiming to enhance their collaboration within the passenger vehicle battery swapping service network. Pursuant to this agreement, CATL will make a strategic investment of up to 2.5 billion yuan in NIO Power. Both parties will harmonize battery standards to facilitate the sharing and enhancement of the battery swapping network. NIO's upcoming models will integrate CATL's battery swapping standards and network, while the battery swapping networks of both companies will adopt a "dual-network parallel" model to offer users more efficient energy solutions.
