On March 17, BYD unveiled its cutting-edge pure electric technology platform, the Super e-Platform, and announced at the pre-sale launch event for the Han L and Tang L models that both would be the inaugural recipients of this innovative platform. Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Business Department, highlighted at the event that the Super e-Platform had undergone a comprehensive upgrade encompassing motors, batteries, and electronic control systems. According to actual tests, the Han L EV boasts an impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, while the Tang L EV achieves this feat in 3.6 seconds. Lu Tian humorously remarked that the blistering speed of the Han L EV has reduced internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to mere sentimental relics, with Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra being the only competitor capable of keeping pace.
