BMW China has partnered with a leading technology company to introduce a suite of digital services tailored for the Chinese market. This includes a digital key leveraging the latest operating system, advanced in-car connectivity features, and official applications. The digital key functionality is anticipated to become available this year, while the fully integrated in-car connectivity solution is slated to be featured in locally produced BMW next-generation models by 2026.
Peter Gao, President of BMW Group Greater China, highlighted the importance of this collaboration with local technology enterprises. He emphasized that it will allow BMW to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technology into its products and services, marking a significant milestone in localized cooperation and redefining the intelligent driving experience for Chinese customers.
