March 16 News: Amidst the annual surge in the number of new energy vehicles (NEVs), the necessity for specialized safety assessments of these vehicles has become increasingly evident. Commencing this month, China has officially implemented its pioneering safety testing standard for NEVs, titled "Inspection Procedures for the Operational Safety Performance of New Energy Vehicles." This standard mandates comprehensive testing of power battery safety during charging and electrical safety, signifying a significant enhancement in the NEV safety testing regime. Following the enactment of these new regulations, various regions have introduced recommended testing programs tailored for NEVs.
Notably, the Jinan Municipal Government Automobile Testing Center has unveiled Shandong's inaugural NEV testing facility, drawing a considerable number of car owners seeking to ensure the safety of their vehicles. The process is streamlined for car owners, who simply need to book an appointment and register on-site to complete the testing promptly and efficiently.
