On March 17, 2025, BYD will unveil a groundbreaking technology dubbed "Super e-Platform Technology" at its global headquarters in Shenzhen. The event, themed "Megawatt Flash Charging, Equal Speed with Fuel Vehicles," marks a significant leap forward in BYD's charging efficiency and power performance. The new platform boasts a charging power exceeding 1,000 kilowatts, slashing charging times to just 10 minutes, nearly matching the convenience of refueling a conventional vehicle.

In tandem with this technological advancement, BYD will introduce new models, Han L and Tang L, equipped with an upgraded electric drive system to further elevate their performance. Positioned above current offerings, Han L and Tang L will undergo a comprehensive enhancement in size, power, and intelligent configurations, and will incorporate the Super e-Platform Technology. This integration promises consumers a novel experience in terms of performance, intelligence, and safety.

Despite BYD's robust sales in February, reaching 322,800 units and capturing a 23.3% market share, the proportion of sales from its premium brands remained modest.
