On March 13th, Beijing West Intelligent Mobility Zhangjiakou Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. held a grand ceremony to mark the completion of its factory in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone. The event also signaled the official commencement of production for the cutting-edge fourth-generation MagneRide® magnetorheological suspension system. According to reports, the factory's initial production capacity for magnetorheological shock absorbers is projected to reach 600,000 units this year, sufficient to equip 150,000 vehicles. Looking ahead, production capacity will progressively expand to meet the demands of supporting 1.5 to 2 million vehicles, fostering economies of scale. This strategic expansion is poised to enhance cost-effectiveness for automakers, making high-end intelligent features more accessible to a broader range of users at competitive prices, thereby promoting inclusive technology adoption.
