On March 7, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) convened a meeting in Beijing to mark the inception of the Working Group on Overseas Standards and Regulations for Commercial Vehicles. At the gathering, the CAAM detailed the rollout strategy and advancements in the internationalization efforts of the working group. Following this introduction, experts from the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd., and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. presented their respective research achievements pertaining to overseas standards and regulations.

Participants engaged in thorough discussions on the working group's plan of action and future endeavors, collectively endorsing its establishment. Furthermore, an expert panel was formed, reaching a preliminary consensus on the topics deliberated during the meeting.
