The 2020 Tesla Model 3 has fallen short in Danish safety evaluations, with nearly a quarter of the tested vehicles failing. Out of 4,668 vehicles examined, 1,051 did not meet the criteria, amounting to a failure rate of 23%. This figure significantly surpasses the average failure rate of 9% observed in other electric vehicles. Inspectors identified 1,392 defects in Tesla vehicles, which is triple the number detected in other electric cars. These defects primarily concerned issues with lighting, braking, steering, and suspension systems.
