The Management Committee of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province has unveiled the "Development Plan for Supporting the Pilot Application of New Energy Vehicle Battery Swapping Mode (Discussion Draft)," aimed at incentivizing enterprises to adopt new energy vehicle battery swapping technology. In line with this initiative, NIO has introduced an exclusive subsidy program for its battery-swappable models. From March 6 to March 31, customers purchasing any NIO or LeDao model will be eligible for special purchase subsidies. The subsidy structure is as follows: RMB 2,000 per vehicle for models with an official guide price (inclusive of options) below RMB 250,000, RMB 6,000 per vehicle for models priced between RMB 250,000 and RMB 400,000, and RMB 10,000 per vehicle for models priced at RMB 400,000 and above.
