The Hefei Economic Development Zone has unveiled the "Development Plan for Supporting the Pilot Application of New Energy Vehicle Battery Swapping Models," which aims to incentivize enterprises to adopt the battery swapping model for new energy vehicles through special subsidies. In alignment with this initiative, NIO has introduced a subsidy program for the purchase of battery swapping models. From March 6 to March 31, 2025, customers who buy any NIO series or LeDao models will be eligible for subsidies ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 yuan per vehicle, based on the official guide price of each model.
