Mao Shengyong, the Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, announced at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office on October 19 that China’s equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing sectors experienced remarkable growth during the first three quarters of 2026. Specifically, the production volume of industrial robots saw a 29.1% year-on-year increase, 3D printing equipment output rose by 62.5% year-on-year, and lithium-ion battery production climbed by 39.5% year-on-year.
