After the termination of the federal tax credit policy for vehicle purchases, the U.S. electric vehicle market experienced significant volatility but is now showing signs of recovery. According to data from Kelley Blue Book, a subsidiary of Cox Automotive, in the third quarter of 2026, sales of pure electric vehicles in the U.S. rebounded significantly compared to the second quarter, reaching a new quarterly sales high in nearly a year.
