On October 14, at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, He Xiaopeng, the Chairman of XPENG Group, made a significant announcement: XPENG is set to embark on a global journey of smart vehicle technology cooperation. This collaboration will span three pivotal domains: vehicle platforms (encompassing vehicle platform architecture and electronic/electrical architecture), modular technologies (including intelligent driving systems, AIBOX, chips, batteries, and electric drives), and supporting toolchains (such as remote XCP calibration, vehicle end-of-line testing, AI diagnostics, etc.).
Furthermore, XPENG is also poised to open up its full-domain solution business for the physical AI ecosystem. This encompasses a wide array of cutting-edge technologies, including humanoid robots, Robotaxi services, flying cars, Turing AI chips, and foundational models for the physical world. Alongside this, XPENG will offer comprehensive commercialization solutions to support these innovations.
He Xiaopeng disclosed that XPENG's Robotaxi business is currently engaged in in-depth discussions with several prominent European mobility platforms. He further mentioned that progress regarding this cooperation will be unveiled at the appropriate time.
