Google has launched a revamped version of its in-car Google Play Store for vehicles equipped with its built-in system, adding a variety of new entertainment apps. Among them, YouTube introduces a new feature that allows audio to continue playing when the vehicle switches from parked to driving mode. This update will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks. The redesigned interface of the new in-car app store includes apps such as Starz, Firefox Browser, Ludo King, and JioHotstar, which are available for use only when the vehicle is parked. Google stated that its built-in system is now available in models from 16 brands, covering over 100 vehicle models. Applications like Google Maps and Gemini can run directly on the car's infotainment system without needing a phone connection. Currently, the in-car Google Play Store offers over 700 apps.
