Horizon has revealed that the much-anticipated HSD V2.1 version is on the verge of release. This latest iteration introduces a remarkable 18 new features, refines 26 existing user experiences, extends the average hands-free driving distance by 43%, elevates the revolutionary lane-changing capability by a staggering 255%, and enhances the success rate of parking in tight spaces by 20%. Among the new features are a Beta version of all-scenario reversing, alerts via flashing lights and honking, among others. It also fine-tunes three-point turn maneuvers, improves the performance of lane-change negotiations, and bolsters obstacle recognition and avoidance abilities. Additionally, the update brings innovative parking functionalities such as auto-alignment with custom parking spaces and remote-controlled entry and exit parking, upgrades the active safety perception network, and optimizes the trigger thresholds for automatic emergency braking as well as the logic for parking takeover and exit. The parking activation speed has been increased to 7km/h, facilitating one-button parking without the need to come to a complete stop. Users who accumulate 100km of assisted driving mileage with HSD can unlock a new, block-style HMI theme.
