As of September 29, CATL's Chocolate Battery Swap Service has successfully constructed a cumulative total of 2,520 battery swap stations nationwide, reaching 200 cities across 31 provinces. Nearly 20,000 brand-new CATL batteries are currently held in reserve. At present, first- and second-tier cities have achieved full coverage, with small- and medium-sized cities making up over 80% of the total. Moreover, more than a quarter of the cities where these stations are located boast the highest station density in the industry. According to the plan, from 2026 to 2027, CATL intends to add 1,000 highway battery swap stations, creating a highway battery swap network featuring "11 vertical and 9 horizontal" routes. The aim is to establish, on average, a pair of battery swap stations every 100 kilometers, and to facilitate multi-brand and multi-model sharing. Additionally, from September 30 to October 7, Chocolate Battery Swap will initiate a 99-second free battery swap experience event.
