Great Wall Haval has revealed that the hybrid variant of the Great Wall Dago PLUS will make its official debut on September 28. This latest addition maintains the iconic boxy design characteristic of the Dago lineup, now enhanced with a cutting-edge hybrid powertrain. The vehicle showcases a variety of front-end styling options, preserving the nostalgic round headlights and incorporating flared wheel arches adorned with rivet accents. Its side profile remains largely unchanged from the current model, featuring a standard roof rack and sunroof. In terms of intelligent driving capabilities, the new model is outfitted with the Coffee Pilot 3 Lite assisted driving system and 4D millimeter-wave radar, enabling both highway and urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functions without the need for high-definition maps. Under the hood, the vehicle is anticipated to sport a 1.5T hybrid system, with the engine generating a peak power output of 115 kilowatts and the system's combined torque reaching an impressive 670 N·m. This allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 6.6 seconds. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with an electronically controlled mechanical toothed differential lock and an iTVC intelligent torque vectoring control system, ensuring a balanced 50:50 axle load distribution and an engine thermal efficiency of up to 41.5%. When it comes to fuel economy, the WLTC combined fuel consumption for the two-wheel-drive model stands at an efficient 5.2L/100km, while the four-wheel-drive variant achieves 5.65L/100km.
