On September 24, a research report released by Galaxy Securities highlighted that the automotive market is showing signs of a rebound following the lull experienced in August. Notably, domestic passenger vehicle sales have witnessed a month-on-month increase, while exports have maintained their strong momentum, achieving significant year-on-year growth. New energy vehicles (NEVs) have emerged as the primary catalyst for this export surge. Meanwhile, the domestic commercial vehicle sector has demonstrated stable performance, with the NEV penetration rate nearing 50%. The sustained prosperity of commercial vehicle exports has been propelled by robust truck export figures. Looking forward, as the automotive market enters the peak consumption periods of 'Golden September and Silver October,' along with the year-end shopping spree, NEVs are expected to continue fueling the recovery of the domestic automotive market and driving export growth. Industry operations are projected to gradually pick up pace in September and throughout the fourth quarter.
