The WEY Shanhai Smart Edition has now been officially rolled out. The Shanhai 8 Smart Edition is priced at 309,800 yuan, and the Shanhai 9 Smart Edition is available for 385,800 yuan. Remarkably, within a mere 6 hours of the new model's release, a staggering 8,096 firm orders were secured. This new edition will be marketed alongside the existing Shanhai model. Notably, the price of the Shanhai 8 Smart Edition stays consistent with that of the current model, whereas the Shanhai 9 Smart Edition witnesses a price hike of 32,000 yuan compared to its predecessor.

The enhancements of this new model are chiefly centered around the intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving capabilities, space experience, and powertrain. Both variants come equipped with a 53.9kWh battery, the Coffee Pilot 4 system, an NVIDIA Thor-U chip, 28 high-precision sensing hardware components, and front and rear dual LiDAR. These features collectively support functions such as full-scenario NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) from parking spot to parking spot, offering a seamless driving experience.

Moreover, the long-wheelbase design ensures a flexible and spacious interior, while the cage-type body structure, incorporating a high proportion of high-strength steel, guarantees travel safety. The launch event was a concise 8-minute affair, eschewing traditional PPT presentations in favor of an AI-generated creative film, thereby presenting a fresh and distinctive format.

Building upon the existing space comfort, the Shanhai Smart Edition seamlessly integrates multiple upgraded configurations.
