The BOW, a fully electric and autonomous delivery concept vehicle, co-developed by the Stellantis Group and UQI Robotics, was unveiled at the International Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany. Built on the fundamental concept of 'Box On Wheels,' this vehicle boasts a cab-free design, maximizes internal space utilization, and facilitates coordinated operations among connected fleets. It is mainly designed for medium-to-large logistics settings and will initially undergo validation tests in Europe. At present, specifics such as its technical details and production strategies are yet to be finalized, and its path to commercialization is fraught with technological, regulatory, and cost-related hurdles. Nevertheless, its adaptable space design could spark innovative ideas within the logistics sector.
