Land Rover Range Rover plans to reduce the size of in-car displays in future models. The upcoming Range Rover GT model, set to launch in Australia in 2027, already showcases this strategy. Its interior features a single central lower touchscreen and a streamlined driving display, with only a low-positioned central console screen on the passenger side, moderately reducing screen area. The Global Director of Product and Service Marketing at Land Rover stated that the GT model signals similar adjustments for the brand's future models, with the next-generation Range Rover Evoque set to be released next year. Land Rover has rejected design proposals with excessive screens, aiming to create a serene cabin by retaining only the minimum number of screens needed by the driver. This shift will not involve a large-scale return of physical buttons, as secondary controls for multimedia and air conditioning will still be operated through the downsized main screen. The GT cabin adopts a new single-screen design paired with a driving display, replacing the traditional instrument panel, and is equipped with a full-color head-up display.
