Hyundai Motor is collaborating with Waymo, a U.S. autonomous driving technology company, to combine Hyundai's vehicle manufacturing capabilities with Waymo's Level 4 autonomous driving technology. The plan is to start delivering a specially modified version of the IONIQ 5 robotaxi equipped with Waymo's autonomous driving system in the fourth quarter of 2026.
