On September 9, a significant vehicle handover ceremony took place in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. During this event, 50 new energy vehicles from the renowned Chinese automaker BYD were officially inducted into the local police force. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif graced the occasion with his presence and personally presented the keys to the Minister of Interior and the Inspector General of Islamabad Police. Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized that the government is committed to equipping the police force with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the utmost public safety. It has been reported that following the initiation of the procurement plan in April, the Islamabad Police Department has placed orders for nearly 100 new energy vehicles from BYD, encompassing models such as the Haishi 07 and ATTO 2.
