On September 7th, Li Auto unveiled its comprehensive plan to fully incorporate in-house batteries across its entire vehicle lineup. Presently, models such as the Li L8, L6, and i8 are already outfitted with these proprietary batteries. Moving forward, in the fourth quarter, the latest iteration of the Li MEGA will make an immediate switch to in-house batteries for all orders confirmed post-3:00 PM on September 7th, with customer deliveries slated to commence in November. Meanwhile, the inaugural batch of the brand-new Li i9 will initially utilize batteries sourced from CATL, before eventually transitioning to Li Auto’s in-house batteries at a later stage. Additionally, the 2026 Li i6 is set to debut in the fourth quarter, boasting in-house batteries and Mach chips from the outset.
