Huajing Auto has issued an official announcement regarding the adjustment of the delivery schedule for its inaugural model, the Huajing S. Owing to volatility in the global chip supply chain, there is currently a constrained supply of onboard chips compatible (assuming "matching" refers to compatibility; if it denotes a specific chip name, the correct English equivalent should be used) with the Hongmeng cockpit, resulting in delays for certain orders. The company admits that its previous anticipation and response to chip supply challenges were insufficient and has now initiated a dedicated supply assurance program. It will closely monitor user order progress through dedicated consultants and its official App, all while maintaining stringent manufacturing and quality inspection standards. The Huajing S, a spacious six-seater SUV, was unveiled in May of this year. It comes equipped as standard with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS Pro Enhanced Edition and the Hongmeng Cockpit HarmonySpace 5 across all trim levels. The model has witnessed a swift surge in orders, with 7,306 units delivered in August, marking a month-on-month increase for four consecutive months. By August 17, the cumulative delivery volume had exceeded 20,000 units.
