On September 4, the Cainiao eHub digital logistics hub in Hong Kong proudly unveiled its groundbreaking climbing robot warehouse, marking a significant milestone as the city’s first of its kind. This innovative warehouse leverages the synergy between four-way shuttle robots and climbing robots to achieve three-dimensional storage and streamlined sorting processes. As a result, it has boosted overall space utilization by 1.5 times and enhanced manual efficiency by 50%. Presently, Cainiao’s proprietary climbing robots are playing a pivotal role in the construction of overseas supply chain networks across countries like the Netherlands and Spain. Moreover, they have successfully achieved commercial deployment in diverse sectors, including electronics, apparel, and e-commerce retail.
