Yu Chengdong, the Chairman of Huawei's Terminal BG, has officially announced that pre-orders for the upgraded Luxeed R7 will commence this month. This upgrade initiative, which involves a substantial investment of 500 million yuan, introduces eight significant enhancements tailored specifically for family car usage scenarios. These improvements encompass optimizations in cabin space and seating comfort, an impressive CLTC pure electric driving range extending up to 855 kilometers, and a coupe-like driving sensation achieved through exclusive tuning. Yu Chengdong also shared his personal insights from using the Luxeed R7, highlighting that the vehicle has garnered a loyal following of over 120,000 owners since its initial launch, with a notable 80% of them being family-oriented users. Furthermore, he mentioned that the new model has successfully completed its MIIT declaration process, and exhibition vehicles are anticipated to arrive at dealerships by mid-September.
