Data from the CPCA indicates that, during the period from August 1 to August 23, 2026, the retail sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles across the country stood at 614,000 units, marking a 12% decline year-on-year. In contrast, manufacturers' wholesale sales of new energy vehicles reached 714,000 units, showing a 5% increase compared to the same period last year.
