On September 2, Changzhou Xingyu Auto Lamp Co., Ltd. convened an online meeting to clarify its performance. During the meeting, Zhou Xiaoping, the company's chairman and general manager, addressed the recent employment controversy. He confirmed that the company had issued an apology letter and was taking appropriate actions under the guidance of government authorities. Xingyu Shares expressed gratitude for the media's oversight in revealing the truth and has lodged complaints with the cyberspace administration and network security departments regarding certain inaccurate reports.
Previously, it was reported that Xingyu Shares had collectively terminated contracts with 107 newly graduated employees. The Changzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau noted that the negotiation process was overly simplistic and insensitive, prompting an apology from the company and the suspension of the HR director's position. Xingyu Shares has pledged to overhaul its employment system to better protect workers' rights and interests. Additionally, the company promises to offer job-seeking subsidies, suitable job placements, and employment compensation to the affected new graduates.
