The Ministry of Commerce, along with two other departments, has jointly released the Guidelines on Overseas Competition Behavior and Compliance Construction in the Automobile Industry. These guidelines mandate that enterprises must adhere to transparent pricing practices in accordance with local laws and regulations when selling goods or providing services overseas. Specifically, they are prohibited from arbitrarily raising prices beyond the marked price or imposing unmarked fees in violation of established regulations.

Furthermore, when engaging in promotional activities such as prize sales, free trials, discounts, gift-giving, and automotive financial incentives, enterprises are required to comply with local laws, regulations, business practices, and cultural customs. They must also fulfill their contractual obligations faithfully. In terms of brand display and promotional activities, enterprises should disclose information truthfully and comprehensively, following the regulations of the host country (or region). This is to avoid false or misleading propaganda and to uphold the positive brand image of Chinese automobiles on the global stage.
