On September 1, reporters received information from the Ministry of Commerce indicating that the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation had recently jointly issued the Guidelines for Overseas Competition Behavior and Compliance Construction in the Automotive Industry. These guidelines are designed to bolster the compliance management capabilities of Chinese automotive industry enterprises, amplify their international clout, and foster international cooperation within the global automotive industry chain and supply chain. Comprising four chapters and twenty articles, the guidelines offer explicit direction for Chinese automotive industry enterprises involved in production and business activities, particularly in overseas market competition. They specifically address competition behaviors in overseas marketing, as well as compliance construction in domains such as overseas production safety, quality management, labor protection, and data security.
