As reported by sedaily, on August 30, Pony.ai inked a strategic cooperation pact with South Korea's FutureLink, with the intention of rolling out its seventh-generation autonomous taxis, or Robotaxis, in South Korea. Initially, 200 vehicles produced by BAIC will be deployed. The two entities will set up a joint venture, with the ambitious goal of attaining fully driverless commercial operations in South Korea by approximately 2028.
