On August 27, FAW Group unveiled the successful development of the inaugural prototype for a perovskite photovoltaic sunroof. This achievement represents a pioneering milestone, both within China and on the global stage, as it is the first instance of perovskite photovoltaic technology being seamlessly integrated into automotive safety glass. It heralds a significant transition for vehicle-mounted photovoltaic technology, shifting from the realm of theoretical concept validation to tangible prototype realization.
