At the YangWang U7 Drivers' Conference, which took place at BYD's Shaoxing Racetrack, YangWang Motors made a groundbreaking announcement. The U7 had successfully completed a grueling 30,000-kilometer endurance test in a remarkable 8 days, 19 hours, and 58 minutes, setting a new world record for extreme endurance. What made this feat even more impressive was that the vehicle used for the test was a randomly selected, unmodified production prototype from the 2026 model year, chosen blindly to ensure fairness and authenticity.
Throughout the test, the U7 underwent more than 350 rapid charge-discharge cycles, a true test of its battery's resilience. Remarkably, the battery capacity retention rate soared to an impressive 98.7%, showcasing the vehicle's exceptional energy management capabilities. Furthermore, the U7 proved its mettle by successfully completing a round-trip journey of over 30,000 kilometers across the vast Eurasian continent, a testament to its durability and reliability in diverse and challenging environments.
The conference also shed light on the U7's innovative "Tuning Master" function, which is built upon the foundation of the Easy-Four-Wheel and Cloud Chassis systems. This cutting-edge feature empowers drivers with the ability to personalize their driving experience through customized tuning, ensuring that every journey is tailored to their unique preferences. Moreover, the "Tuning Master" function will continue to evolve through continuous OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, keeping drivers at the forefront of automotive innovation.
Adding to the excitement, three themed modified vehicles, co-created by renowned figures Pan Zhanle, Han Cenyu, and Tie Dou, were proudly displayed on-site. These vehicles showcased the limitless potential for customization and personalization that the U7 offers, inspiring drivers to unleash their creativity and make their mark on the automotive world.
Prior to its highly anticipated market launch, the YangWang U7 had already accumulated a substantial investment in testing, with 758 test vehicles and a staggering 10.49 million kilometers of rigorous testing under its belt. This series of achievements embodies the core philosophy of 'No Extremes, No YangWang,' a testament to the brand's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive excellence and delivering an unparalleled driving experience.
