The 2027 Toyota bZ5, a pure electric sedan designed for household use, has made its official debut. It is available in six trim levels, with introductory prices ranging from RMB 109,800 to RMB 179,800. In terms of performance, the vehicle is powered by a front-mounted single motor that delivers a maximum output of 200kW, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h. Regarding driving range, the bZ5 is equipped with BYD’s FinDreams lithium iron phosphate blade batteries, which come in two capacities: 65.28 kWh and 73.98 kWh. These batteries provide CLTC-rated ranges of 550 kilometers and 630 kilometers, respectively, and support modular upgrades for enhanced flexibility.

Externally, the bZ5 blends design cues from both coupes and SUVs, featuring dimensions of 4,780 × 1,866 × 1,510 mm and a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. Its two-tone body color scheme adds a touch of sophistication. In terms of intelligent technology, all trim levels come standard with LiDAR sensors, incorporating Momenta’s R6 advanced algorithm and a computing chip with 544 TOPS of processing power. This setup enables sophisticated urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) intelligent driving capabilities. Inside, the cabin is centered around a 15.6-inch central control screen and is complemented by a host of premium features, including a JBL sound system, an in-car fragrance diffuser, 256-color ambient lighting, 50W wireless fast charging, and heated front seats.
