New models launched by Chinese supercar brands such as Denza and Yangwang have surpassed Lamborghini's successive dynasties (previous generations') products in terms of power and speed. However, Lamborghini CEO Winkelmann believes that these Chinese brands do not currently pose a real threat because they focus on the electric vehicle sector, while Lamborghini still holds advantages in automotive performance, engine sound, and emotional experience. Due to insufficient consumer demand and unmet technological standards, Lamborghini has postponed the launch of its first pure electric model to after 2030, currently focusing on developing plug-in hybrid models and continuing with V12 engines. Nevertheless, Winkelmann also acknowledged that the company may face challenges from Chinese brands in the future.
